Biography
Ideal Lawyer, authorized to practice law in Panama and Mexico. He has extensive experience in corporate, transactional, commercial, real estate law and in handling banking, tax, trust, stock exchange, drafting and negotiation of contracts, among others. He has practiced in Panama, Mexico and the United States in large-scale transactions and matters.
Prior to his work at Rivera de la Torre, Abogados, he worked in Panama at the firm Rubio Álvarez, Solís & Ábrego and in Mexico City for Grupo Televisa, the largest media and entertainment company in Latin America. He was also part of the prestigious law firms Bingham McCuthen, LLP., In Los Angeles, California (United States) and Bryan González Várgas & González Baz, SC, in Tijuana, Baja California (Mexico).
Education
His academic training is global. He studied in Mexico at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) where he obtained his Law Degree, in the United States at the University of Southern California (USC) where he obtained a Master's Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law (LL.M.) and in Panama he obtained the Bar Examination in Law from the University of Panama. In addition to his legal training, he also studied in Panama at the Specialized University of the Authorized Public Accountant (UNESCPA) where he obtained a Master's Degree in Finance with an emphasis in Corporate Finance.
He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama.
